OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!! I just saw the movie 2012 on Friday the 13 with six of my friends in our band. We all planned it during our lunch hour, and we went to the 8:00 showing. It was freaking amazing! It was sooooo cool!!! It had tons of action in it, and the director is Roland Emmerich, the same director from the movies Independence Day, and The Day After Tomorrow. I'd say that this movie jsut barely touched the Mayanism and the Mesoamerican Long Count calender.

The main plot of the movie was centered around the Sun creating massive solar flares, which in turn, would cause the Earth's core temperatures to heat up rapidly, causing the crust to shift dramatically, and making the Poles shift. Seeing that movie was a major highlight of my weekend.

I'm currently working on my own novel. I REALLY got inspired to get going on it after watching 2012. I really hope it turns out great! I'm currently writing out the plot outline for it.
